As we have been reporting for the last week, TOY2R is putting a huge focus back on the D.I.Y. genre as the Designer Art Toy movement continues to grow. With the addition of licensed D.I.Y. figures (SIMPSONS, HELLBOY) and smaller 2.5 inch figures (EARGG and 2.5IN ASST), TOY2R plans to make D.I.Y. better than ever before.
Introducing the newly redesigned 8 inch D.I.Y. Qee line! These images are of the newly redesigned boxes that allow the customer to see exactly what figure is inside. Eye catching colors and designs makes them so appealing one could simply collect the boxes! But that's not all, we have also included 3 tubes of acrylic paint inside each box to help the beginner get started right away!
As if this weren't enough, we've listened to the fans and designers alike who have always mentioned "if only you could take the figure apart with ease." Well that day is here! We have retooled the D.I.Y. collection so there is no need to heat, cut, or do anything else to the vinyl except pull it apart! That's right, in less than 10 seconds you can pull the figure completely apart, making it easier to paint and customize your QEE. What's better, it only takes seconds to put the pieces back together! Remember those classic "SNAP" model kits? It's just that easy!
TOY2R will have samples of its D.I.Y. collection on display at the Diamond Comics booth #2401 at SDCC.
