FABRIC8 AND NEON MONSTER PRESENT 2-D/3-D

FABRIC8 AND NEON MONSTER PRESENT 2-D/3-D

22nd Street Merchants fabric8 and Neon Monster are teaming up to bring you the 2-D/3-D Show, a group art exhibition featuring works on both traditional surfaces and objects.

Twenty artists come together to offer a multi-dimensional show that covers the spectrum of art-related objects -- painting, illustration, vinyl toys, and sculpture.

Participating artists include custom-toy specialist Leecifer, comic book artist Dave Crosland, and talented painters/illustrators Reuben Rude and Ursula Young. Among the custom vinyl toys being painted are the
Shawnimal Plushform, Kid Robot Munny, Mike Burnett Neighborwood, and Toy2R Qee.

Neon Monster, perched at Castro and 22nd Street, hand-picks a selection of new and used vinyl, current and back-issue comic books, and designer art toys. Unifying seemingly unrelated media, Neon Monster is
philosophically united by a genuine love and respect for creative pursuits.

fabric8 is a boutique/gallery featuring affordable art, clothing, music, and housewares by local artists and designers.

2-D/3-D will be on exhibit from August 16 through September 6 at both San Francisco shops -- fabric8, 3318 22nd Street @ Valencia, and Neon Monster, 901 Castro Street @ 22nd – which are open 7 days a week.

The opening reception for 2-D/3-D will be held on Saturday, August 16, also at both locations – Neon Monster from 3pm-7pm and fabric8 from 5pm-9pm.
