TOY2R ANNOUNCES MORE TAIPEI TOY FESTIVAL EXCLUSIVES

With the Taipei Toy Festival about a week away - TOY2R has beefed up its offering to include the following show exclusives at their booth #53-54:





From the design group known as Brothersworker - William Tsang has collaborated with TOY2R to launch the newest QEE - Leo! Available in three different versions (Ah Leo, Clown Leo and Skull Leo) utilizing the classic 2.5" Qee platform, the Leo Qee features a newly sculpted head just for this launch and as always - includes the Qee Keychain attachment. SRP - NTD$600 / US$19 - Note that only 20 pieces of each will be available (Prototype Production Edition). This marks the second Brothersworker member to collaborate with TOY2R - First was Kenny Wong creating the Molly Qee.


From Frank Kozik comes the larger version of last year's TTF exclusive Potamus figure - the newly available 6" GID ANARCHY POTAMUS figure. Available for NTD$1200 / US$38.00 - this figure is limited to only 200 pieces and it marks the begining of the POTAMUS 6" figure launch.


A TTF launch exclusive comes from David Horvath - the mighty 7.5" Turtle with Crown figure makes it debut at the convention. From the pages of Horvath's children's book - Just like Bossy Bear comes a friend for life. Perfect for anyone who purchased the 12" Bossy Bear - now these two can rule to roost! Brazil - DIY QEE Show Video from Battle of the Toys Show

Our friends and Bitsmag just sent us this clip of the DIY custom show, Battle of the Toys, that was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil last month. Some great looking customs shown - wouldn't be surprised if some of these designs showed up as production pieces in the future. Great to have MTV covering the event!

New Glow In The Dark 8" Qees

Adding a little more color to your summer - TOY2R announces the release of two new Glow In The Dark 8" DIY Qee Bears. Orange and Purple make up the two new additions that will be available for shipping in Mid-July. SRP of $35.00 each - the QEES will be available boxed.


TOY2R also announces that the GID collection will now consist of the two new colors above and the two classic colors - PINK and BLUE (below). The colors Yellow and Green have since sold out and have been retired - so don't miss out on these cool additions to any room.

BOSSY BEAR & FRIENDS Prepare To Take Over The World!! TTF and SDCC Exclusives

David Horvath's figure line, Bossy Bear & Friends, just decided to make a huge spalsh during the month of July and take advantage of two major conventions. TOY2R is pleased to announce that the initial release of the Just Like Bossy Bear Assortment (shown above) will be made available in time for the Taipei Toy Festival on the 9th of July. With an SRP of $15.00 - expect these brightly colored critters to hit the US shores shortly after.


If that weren't enough - TOY2R will also release the limited run of the LEMONY FRESH SPECIAL EDITION of Bossy Bear & Friends. This set will feature a limited edition of 300 pcs each of Bossy Bear, Turtle and Crocadoca. If you're headed to the Taipei Toy Festival - check out TOY2R in booth 53-54. Each figure will be numbered in package.




For those in need of a little more Crocadoca - there will be two special editions released for both TTF and SDCC.

The Glow in the Dark DIY series of Crocadoca will be released at the San Diego Comic Con at Toy Tokyo's booth. Created to mirror the release of the GID release of Turtle back at Toy Fair, these 5" two tone figures will be limited to only 50 pieces of each color - polybagged with header card.

Make plans to pick them up and prepare to have them signed by the creator, David Horvath on Saturday at 12 noon at Toy Tokyo's Booth.


Not to be left out - TOY2R will also make a special version available during the Taipei Toy Festival. Each of these Crocadoca figures will be limited to only 50 pieces each and will be available in window box packaging. Find them at Booth 53-54!!

Domo SDCC Exclusive Qee - Dark Horse x TOY2R

As previously announced - the collaboration between Dark Horse and TOY2R comes to life in July with the release of the DOMO Qee Series.

In this blind-box assortment, you can enjoy the thrill of discovery when you open your package! There are 17 different versions with varied figures of scarcity , from wood-grained style versions to polka-dotted and chrome variations. Plus, we have added a "Build-a-Domo" feature. Each individual box will contain one Domo part, such as an arm, leg, or body, and you can collect them all six parts to create your own transparent Domo figure!

RESERVOIR DOG QEE COLLECTION: Lionsgate x Toy2R

As shown at February's Toy Fair - TOY2R is pleased to release the first official images from the upcoming project with Lionsgate - the Reservoir Dog Qee Collection.

Based on the artwork and classic iconic images of the debut film from writer/director Quentin Tarantino - TOY2R plans to create some original collectibles keeping with the look and feel of the original film.

From a classic limited edition 8" Mr. Black Qee Bear to the individual suited 2.5" Qee figures to a full assortment of various designs - all coming soon.
