From the upcoming event - "States Filling Plates" show curated by Bryan Collins - this is the first custom sneak peek at Troy Stith's custom Toyer Qee entitled "Fall of Toy" and the story that goes along with it below. Great job!!


Toy was once the mightiest of all stone giants to walk the land of Tu'R'Land. Stomping, smashing, and causing chaos for all who chose to live on his land, he didn't have a care in the world except to have more fun as he fondly called it. Toy's demise came in the form of a small boy, from a tiny village, who pleaded to Toy to stop his menacing destruction. "You may challenge me to one thing and one thing only, if I fail then I shall leave your puny village alone." Toy knew he couldn't fail such a small challenge and had no intention of sparing the boy's village if he did lose. The boy thought for a minute then suddenly shouted "I challenge you to scratch your own back!" Such a futile attempt thought Toy "I accept your challenge, but I'm sorry to inform you your village is doomed."


Toy quickly reached for the small of his back and was met with a KRRRAACCKKK, Toy's right arm fell to the ground in front of him. Little did the boy know that this significant loss meant the end of the arrogant giant.



Toy quickly leaned forward to try to grab his arm before his fate was sealed but the giant knew too well that his reign was now over and let out a pitiful "help" as his body froze in place.

agnes b. x Qee Holiday Collection

Headquartered in Paris, the couture boutique agnes b. has collaborated with Toy2R to release a holiday collection of Qee Bears. These five bears are unique and include a key chain attachment. Nine locations across the globe: Singapore, Taiwan, France, Hong Kong, China, USA, Japan, Netherlands and the UK.


All part of their holiday promotion and selling for HK$190 (about $25 US)

Qee 2 Life: Custom Qee DIY Exhibit @ Genuine Artikle

Toy2R is proud to announce the upcoming DIY Qee show being held at Genuine Artikle in NY on December 12th.

Representing lowbrow street based artists, Genuine Artikle Gallery and Art Toy Boutique features paintings, urban vinyl, blind box, DIY & designer toys, handmade apparel and accessories. In-house printing of their limited edition clothing and exclusive collaborations with showcased artists are two of the many ways GA represents the best of the true underground art scene by showing what's really happening under the radar.

We're Flocked! Toy2R's First Qee Release for 2010 Revealed

As Toy2R looks toward 2010 and its 15th Anniversary - we are looking forward to offering new finishes and designs for collectors in the coming new year.

Up first - Toy2R will launch this colorful yet furry assortment of classic 2.5" Qee Bears. A rainbow of colors all with a flocked finish and including our patented key chain attachment. Available in a blind box assortment - each counter display of 25 pieces will have over a dozen different color variations including mystery chase versions. Platform figures have never been so fun and fuzzy!

2010...the celebration begins...

Toy2R Opens China Office - Nov. 22nd

Toy2R is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in China with a VIP Grand Opening Party scheduled for November 22nd. Attending VIP's will get s first hand look at the new division office as well as seeing many new releases - on display for the first time. There will also be a limited edition 2.5" Qee handed out for attending guests.

Toy2r has teamed up with the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, Business with Design Management course of the Department of Business Administration this year and organized an internal student competition project. Through the competition, BDM students will base their concepts on environmental awareness, ECO, and apply the design concepts to Toy2R's 3.5 inch BABY QEE DIY vinyl figure .

The selected designs will have a chance to be exhibited in various locations around Hong Kong and the first show are now available at HKTDC Design Gallery, the show will carry on in Taiwan December 2009.


These exhibited designs may even be produced as production pieces as part of Toy2r's 15th Anniversary releases next year. Through this project students will have the chance to apply their design knowledge in a business context as well as learn through integrating design with business through using products, event promotion, and green Marketing.


Raymond Choy, the founder of Toy2R is very supportive of this project and visited the VTC campus on Sept. 25, 2009 to deliver a brief to BDM's students. Not only is he supportive in their actions but Mr. Choy was pleased to offer scholarship opportunities for the students with the best designs.

Both the QEE LOVES GREEN T-shirt and the 8” QEE Loves Green Bear are on sale during this event as well as new QEE handbags and a specially designed 2010 Qee Bear Set (in gold and silver). The 8” Qee Loves Green Bear is a production piece however, no decision has been made yet to determine whether or not we will continue the production of the 8” QEE Loves Green Bear outside of this exhibit.



Toy2R is continuing its commitment to environmental awareness by developing additional Qees for upcoming release including an extension of our WOOD STYLE 8” QEES. It is a major part of our 15th Anniversary Celebration for 2010.
