SWAMP YETI (GREEN) SMASH - CLARIFICATION UPDATE

Just to clarify the status of the SWAMP YETI (GREEN) SMASH Figure: TOY2R will have 100 pcs available during the TAIPEI TOY FESTIVAL - to compound matters - they will even have a select amount of YETI (BLUE) SMASH figures available.

DIAMOND COMIC DISTRIBUTORS is offering the balance of 100 pc of SWAMP YETI (GREEN) SMASH to select retailers at the SAN DIEGO COMIC CON. You can drop by booth #2401 to find out which retailers will have the figure. Diamond will also have samples of the GREEN and BLUE SMASH on display (only) at their booth along with a slew of other TOY2R products.

SWAMP YETI SMASH - REVEALED!

Well it would appear that we have some very smart fans out there because after teasing the upcoming release of the new version of SMASH, several individuals figured out almost everything about it...So way to go.

Now here is your official release from TOY2R: Yes, the next SMASH figure will be the green SWAMP YETI SMASH. It will debut at the Taipei Toy Festival July 10th through the 13th. The figure will be made available at the TOY2R booth #A18,A19. There will be 100 pieces available during the show.

Also, we are in the process of figuring out how to release 100 pieces during the San Diego Comic Con as well, so stay tuned as more details develop, we will post them here.

That brings the total to 200 pieces of the green SWAMP YETI SMASH. SRP is expected to be about $129 each.

Now for a bit of clarification to everyone patiently waiting the other versions:

PRYO (yellow) SMASH - Munky King Exclusive - 200 pieces - released and sold out.
BROWN SMASH - 1st direct shipment shipped and now the second wave is gettting on the water and should hit before end of June.
CANDY (pink) SMASH - Previews Exclusive - 600 pieces - should be hitting customs soon and will ship out immediately once received.
GOLDIE (gold) SMASH - NEWBURY COMICS EXCLUSIVE - 600 pieces - is sitting with the Candy version and should be going to Newbury once released.
YETI (blue) SMASH - shared Exclusive with ARTOYZ and URBAN COLLECTOR - 300 pieces each - will be shipping next month with the expected arrival of early July.
SWAMP YETI (green) SMASH - 200 pieces - as stated above - available in JULY

Well with all of the talk going on about SMASH, we figured we had better start giving regular updates so that the rumors will be squashed! So for right now we want to tease you with the image above and let your mind run wild for a bit as there will be a new announcement soon, but for now, below is an update on what to expect in the next couple of months. SMASH vs. New York Toyfair 2008

Coming to the New York Toyfair - February 17th -20th.

**UPDATE - To clarify, SMASH will be on display for the first time at the NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL TOY FAIR. Retailers can place orders both versions being shown, the BROWN and CANDY EDITIONS. Tentatively plans are to have the figures shipping by APRIL. They are going to be displayed in booth #4905.
